Festy

Festy set out to reimagine how people celebrate life’s important moments by making it easy to send meaningful, personalized digital cards for birthdays, weddings, and other occasions. The challenge was to design an intuitive, joyful experience that integrated seamlessly with third-party platforms, allowing users not just to send and receive cards, but also manage contacts, track key dates, and connect directly via FaceTime or WhatsApp. The product needed to feel lightweight and delightful, while accommodating a range of use cases for different events and relationships.

In this project, I was responsible for leading the design of the end-to-end user experience, from concept to handoff. My role included:

• Designing a smooth, celebratory user flow that made it easy to browse, personalize, and send cards.
• Mapping features like contact management, date tracking, and third-party integrations to keep the app lightweight but useful.
• Creating a vibrant, joyful visual language that matched the tone of celebrations and encouraged frequent use.
• Ensuring accessibility and clarity so that users of all ages and technical familiarity could engage with the app comfortably.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure smooth integration with communication tools like FaceTime and WhatsApp.

We delivered a cheerful, intuitive app that lets users send and receive beautifully designed digital cards for any occasion, making celebrations easy and personal. Festy integrates key features such as contact management, date reminders, and seamless connections to FaceTime and WhatsApp so users can thank or congratulate their loved ones directly. The design focused on creating a lightweight, joyful experience with playful visuals and clear interactions, helping people stay close and celebrate more often.

By blending personalization, thoughtful design, and smart integrations, Festy became a delightful platform that made sharing warm wishes effortless and fun — turning everyday occasions into opportunities to connect meaningfully.
